These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings, participation, and services provided by Wild Goat Trekkers (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking or participating in any trek, tour, or activity organized by Wild Goat Trekkers, you (“Participant”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking, paying the booking amount, or participating in any activity with Wild Goat Trekkers, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full.

Booking & Payment Policy

  • A 25% booking amount is required to confirm any trek, tour, or day trip with Wild Goat Trekkers.

  • The remaining balance must be paid before the trip start date, as communicated by our team.

  • Failure to pay the balance amount within the given timeline may result in automatic cancellation without refund of the booking amount.

  • All bookings are non-transferable unless approved in writing by Wild Goat Trekkers.

Cancellation, Refund & Rescheduling Policy

  • A 25% booking amount is mandatory to confirm any trek or tour with Wild Goat Trekkers.

  • The booking amount is non-refundable under normal circumstances.

  • Cancellation, refund eligibility, and rescheduling conditions are governed strictly by the Cancellation & Refund Policy published on our website.

  • No refunds shall be provided for last-minute cancellations, no-shows, or early exits from the trip.

  • In case of Force Majeure events, refunds are not guaranteed, and rescheduling or trip credit may be offered at the discretion of Wild Goat Trekkers.

  • Any applicable refund will be processed within 7–10 working days, after deducting operational and third-party costs.

Force Majeure

Wild Goat Trekkers shall not be held responsible for delays, itinerary changes, cancellations, or incomplete services caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Landslides, floods, earthquakes, avalanches

  • Extreme weather conditions

  • Government orders, restrictions, or permit issues

  • Political unrest, strikes, pandemics

  • Road closures or transportation disruptions

In such cases:

  • Refunds are not guaranteed.

  • We may offer rescheduling or trip credit, subject to feasibility and operational constraints.

Medical Fitness & Emergency Evacuation Disclaimer

  • Trekking and adventure activities involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, altitude sickness, or death.

  • Participants must ensure they are medically and physically fit to undertake the activity.

  • Any pre-existing medical condition, allergy, injury, or medication must be disclosed to Wild Goat Trekkers before the trip.

  • Wild Goat Trekkers does not provide medical or travel insurance. Participants are strongly advised to arrange their own insurance.

  • In case of illness or injury requiring evacuation:

    • All evacuation and medical costs (porter, mule, vehicle, helicopter, hospital expenses) shall be borne entirely by the participant.

    • Wild Goat Trekkers will assist with coordination but bears no financial liability.

  • We reserve the right to deny participation or remove a participant if found medically unfit or posing a safety risk, without any refund.

Safety, Discipline & Conduct

  • Participants must follow instructions given by trek leaders, guides, and staff at all times.

  • Consumption of alcohol, drugs, or any illegal substances during the trip is strictly prohibited.

  • Any misconduct, indiscipline, or unsafe behavior may result in immediate removal from the trip without refund.

  • Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. Wild Goat Trekkers is not liable for loss or damage.

Changes to Itinerary

  • Wild Goat Trekkers reserves the right to modify routes, schedules, or itineraries due to safety, weather, or operational requirements.

  • Such changes do not entitle participants to refunds.

Limitation of Liability

  • Wild Goat Trekkers shall not be liable for:

    • Personal injury, illness, or death

    • Loss or damage to personal property

    • Delays or cancellations caused by third parties

  • Participation is entirely at the participant’s own risk.

  • Our maximum liability, if any, shall not exceed the total amount paid by the participant.

Photography & Media Usage

  • Photos and videos may be captured during trips organized by Wild Goat Trekkers.

  • Participants grant permission for this content to be used for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes without compensation.

  • If a participant does not wish to appear in promotional material, they must inform us in writing before the trip.

Privacy Policy

  • Personal information collected during booking is used only for operational and communication purposes.

  • Wild Goat Trekkers does not sell, misuse, or share customer data with unauthorized third parties.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.

  • Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Uttarakhand, India.

Amendments

Wild Goat Trekkers reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon publication on the website.
