At Wild Goat Trekkers, we understand that travel plans may change. However, due to advance planning, logistics, and third-party bookings involved in trekking activities, the following cancellation policy applies.


Our cancellation policy is designed to be transparent and fair for both participants and operations.

Booking Amount Policy

  • A 25% booking amount is required to confirm participation.

  • Booking is considered confirmed only after receiving the booking amount.

  • The booking amount is used to block seats, arrange logistics, permits, and accommodations.

Cancellation by the Participant

🏔️ For Multi-Day Treks & Tours

(Cancellation timeline is calculated from the departure date)

  • More than 10 days before departure:
    Booking amount can be transferred to another trek or future departure (within 6 months).
    No cash refund of the booking amount.

  • 5–10 days before departure:
    50% of the booking amount is forfeited
    ➝ Remaining 50% can be adjusted in a future trek (within 6 months).

  • Less than 5 days before departure:
    Booking amount is non-refundable and non-transferable.


🌲 For Day Tours & One-Day Treks

  • 48 hours or more before departure:
    ➝ Booking amount can be adjusted to another day tour (subject to availability).

  • Less than 48 hours before departure:
    Booking amount is non-refundable.

No-Show Policy

If a participant fails to report on the departure date/time, it will be treated as a no-show, and the booking amount will be forfeited.

Cancellation by Wild Goat Trekkers

Wild Goat Trekkers reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a trek or tour due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Natural calamities

  • Road blockages

  • Safety concerns

  • Insufficient group size

In such cases, participants will be offered:

  • Full refund of the booking amount, or

  • Option to reschedule to a future departure.

Force Majeure

Wild Goat Trekkers shall not be held responsible or liable for any cancellation, delay, modification, or disruption of a trek or tour caused by events beyond our reasonable control (“Force Majeure”), including but not limited to:

  • Extreme weather conditions

  • Natural disasters (landslides, floods, earthquakes, avalanches, etc.)

  • Government orders, restrictions, or lockdowns

  • Road closures or transportation disruptions

  • Medical emergencies or pandemics

  • Political unrest or unforeseen safety risks

In such situations, Wild Goat Trekkers will make reasonable efforts to offer one of the following options, subject to feasibility:

  • Rescheduling the trek or tour to a future date

  • Adjustment of the booking amount toward another trek or departure

  • Refund of the booking amount, after deducting any non-recoverable costs already incurred

No compensation, damages, or additional claims shall be applicable under Force Majeure circumstances.

Rescheduling Policy

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 7 days before departure.

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and operational feasibility.

  • Price difference, if any, must be paid by the participant.

Refund & Adjustment Notes

  • Adjusted amounts must be used within 6 months from the original departure date.

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 working days.

  • Payment gateway or bank charges, if any, are non-refundable.

Acceptance of Policy

By confirming a booking with Wild Goat Trekkers, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this cancellation and refund policy.

Important Notice:
This Cancellation & Refund Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. All bookings with Wild Goat Trekkers are governed by these policies collectively.
